Collect
Collect for 11 August 2002 Lord, in the storms of life,
During our Sunday Eucharist we say a prayer called a Collect. This prayer brings together some of themes of the readings and Service.
bid us come to you,
that we who are aware of our weakness,
may be made strong,
through the power of Christ our Lord.
Amen.
At the moment we are using Collects from David Adam's book 'Clouds of Glory'. This book and other prayer books are available at St. John's Cathedral Bookstore.
